This breathtaking swimming pool you can find in Algarrobo, Chile. It’s 1013 metres long and has an area of 8 ha. At its deepest, it is 35 m (115 ft) deep and it holds 66 million gallons of water. To make such a big pool wasn’t cheap. It cost 2 billion dollars to build and another 4 million dollars for its maintenance.
Water in the swimming pool is constantly pumped by a computer-controlled suction and filtration system, that’s why it’s so clean and clear. World’s largest swimming pool was completed in December 2006 and since then it has been attracting a lot of tourist from all around the world.
